the check-in experience was just horrendous, waited for an hour and the staff were a complete mess. the restaurant's dinner service was shockingly slow, and honestly, i half expected a complimentary upgrade for all the hassle. this place could be so lovely, but it definitely didn’t delivery. was ready to rave, but just couldn’t.

Had a lovely stay in the Melba Suite with a comfy outdoor area to unwind. The massage services were top-notch and the garden made for a chill spot to relax. Just a tiny thing, but it would’ve been nice to have more coffee options at breakfast. 😊

The heritage charm of the suite caught our eyes, especially the piano music playing in the background which made for a delightful evening. Our little one enjoyed exploring the gardens, while we appreciated the relaxing in-room massage service, truly a perfect family escape.
My wife says that it would be great if there were more family-friendly dining options available for breakfast.

Stunning sunsets at Yarra Valley 🌅
Waking up to that breathtaking sunrise was a highlight, honestly. The gardens are pretty lekker, and the room was so spacious and comfy, like crawling into a cozy bakkie after a long day. The night manager also helped us out nicely, and after a long day, he was such a chommie to chat with!
Breakfast was good, but I reckon they could have done better with coffee options. I mean, not everyone wants just instant, right?

Charming stay with room for improvement
We spent 2 nights in the Melba Suite, and it was super cozy with lovely views. The old-school decor is a vibe, but I gotta say, breakfast was just alright—would’ve loved better coffee options. Had dinner in the restaurant, which was really nice, but a bit of an awkward experience with one of the staff members.
